Hi there,


i was able to install my system using the image downloaded from this site. Had to do some changes to the config.plist to enable the 1080p. (enable dual link and chose mac 8,2 from SMBIOS)


my system:

ASUS N53SV Sandy Bridge

i7 2670QM

8GB Ram

HD3000 / GEForce GT540M discrete graphics

512GB SSD


I Had Yosemite installed prior to now upgrading to High Sierra and everything was working.

I Now have the following NOT working.


-WIFI / Bluetooth

-the USB 3.0 Port

-Sleep ( i invoked sleep from the menu and the screen went blank but it did not went to sleep and i had to restart)

-if i choose SHUTDOWN from the menu the screen goes blank and the fan goes on really loud but it never shuts off however if i choose restart, it properly shuts down and restarts.


I also don't think the CPU is properly tuned.


As of now, i don't have a DSDT file on my clover folder.

why the network card cannot see any network/ connect?

 

this is what's happening now - I'm sorry - I know I'm in the wrong forum - im new to this and don't know where to go. can you please point me in the right direction to get this card to see a network?

Hi all!


I have a MSI Dominator GT60 2PC laptop, running Sierra 10.12.6.

Full specs:

Msi GT60 Dominator 2PC

i7 4810MQ

Intel HD 4600

GTX 870M 3GB

16GB Ram

700GB 2 SSD.

Intel HM87 Chipset



I have everything working on it, except HDMI output. I tried to disable the Nvidia discrete GPU but its too hard for me. ( Check https://www.tonycrapx86.com/threads/...led-sierra-in-asus-n550lf.208451/post-1430482 )


Now, i got a monitor and i want to use this laptop with Dual Screen, but the HDMI output its not working. I tried everything from this forum and from insanely mac, and still no luck. In windows the HDMI is recognised on the Nvidia Board, its that a problem?


If someone can help me to disable DGPU and fix HDMI i can make a donation.


I will put my EFI files here, and IOREG.

Late Edit: I also have 2 MiniDisplay Ports. Its any difference between HDMI and MiniDisplay port?

Hello !


I've downgraded my Mojave to Highsierra because of Nvidia Graphics are still not supported in it. I am using this Hackintosh without DSDT patches for years but now I think I can take a shot :) It's a desktop PC runs on Msi z270 SLI-PLUS mobo with i7-7700K. However I am lacking of Nvidia 1060's HDMI Audio. Will DSDT Fix that?

It works i think! But now Intel HD4600 shows me only 7MB memory. Check screenshot, and ill add Clover folder as well.
