I was able to configure the OpenCore folder and boot from it but I'm still struggling with the PlatformInfo section of the config.plist. After booting and starting up MacOS, when I go to System Information app the system freezes and stop working. I'm doing something wrong for sure configuring the PlatformInfo section in the OpenCore config file. Waldus Posted June 25, 2020 Share Posted June 25, 2020 (edited) I am also trying to install Catlina on my Gigabye P55M-UD2 machine Currently I have Win10, and two old macOS partitions (Snow Leopard and Lion) I have try to start from usb, but computer gets blocked at the screen to select the language in the installation screen (no mouse or keyboard are working, it seems it is blocked, HDD drive light is ON) is catalina valid for this mobo? Trying to boot with the linked EFI folder doesn't show even the picker. I tried several things but without success. Can you take a look and give me some advice? Keep in mind that the main issue is that the hack is not in my possession and I can have limited time with it. The DSDT is patched long time ago by MaLd0n The rig is booting with clover at the moment with no issues. In BIOS CSM and Secure Boot is disabled and the Boot OS is set as Other OS.
