Without DSDT.aml Trackpad works but not showing in IOreg. With DSDT.aml Trackpad not working and not showing in IOreg.

I ran the config.plist through sanity checker and removed unnecessary stuff. The DSDT.aml that was in my EFI was already modified, not sure if that matters. GWRP was set to (0X0D, Zero) everywhere in an attempt to fix sleep.

Some info that might be useful too:

ELAN1200 Trackpad issue on ASUS N580VD:  We have to use polling-mode because we can't use 0x47 as a hex pin because the DSDT is bugged. Or better the GPIO implementation is bugged. Our APIC PIN is 5f, which corresponds to decimal pin GPIO pin 71 (0x47 in hex)). We can't use interrupts, if we could we would see GPIO pin 0x55 in IOReg.

I'll do a clean install, just to be sure. I have a full CloneZilla backup to restore if it doens't work.

Edit: Clean install doesn't solve anything, trackpad works but not showing in settings.

I have noticed that my Trackpad work fine when charger Is plugged in and jumps at some point when on battery. I had ACPIbattrymanager.kext, when I removed it, it worked fine but my battery icon is gone and also second problem I face is with my display the brightness is is 70% only and it turns on/off when on login page and later it gets stable and last one is my laptop reboots when I done touch it for 10mins it reboots automatically.

1) Brightness

2) Screen on/off on login 

3) Battery icon

4) Reboots when ideal

Please if you can help as you might know solution for most of the issue.

 

Thanks you for solving my Trackpad issue, I spent 3-4 months to patch it I could not get solution anywhere, but luckily I got to this page and you solved in in few hours .

Hi everyone, I try to understand the touchpad setting and I need some help on it.

I'm using a Catalina 10.15.7 with OC 0.6.6 on my DELL INSPIRON 7773 Laptop.

Almost everything working good, just find out how to get my sound back with boot-arg.
But still got this annoying message "No trackpad found". The point is, trackpad is working well,
And before my migration from Clover I had this menu fully functional.
In my ACPI folder I've got my "SSDT-XOSI.aml" so I certainly missing a part of something to get the job done.
Everything had the green light on "config checker" so...
Is there a easy way to troubleshot this Touchpad menu ?
Second point, "Energy saver" I can't tick the box "Show battery status in menu bar", is there a link ?

I have been working on my trackpad for 48 hours now , system still does not detect it at all.( Catalina and Big Sur both)

HP ENVY 13 inch Laptop - 13-ba0010ca 

I think it's HID Synaptics 2393  SYNA2393 trackpad.  I have tried everything, nothing works. 

I got everything else working, just the trackpad. 

Please give me some guidance , guys! thanks!
