MIGUEL - Posted January 1, 2023 Share Posted January 1, 2023 Hello, I have installed Olarilla Monterey without problems on my HP ENVY Notebook - 17-k251na and both wifi and bluetooth work, however the screen at startup looks like it lacks screen refresh (the graphics card is an Intel HD5500) and the audio (Alc290) I can't get it to work even changing the alcid=x Let's see if someone can help me at least on the subject of my screen, I attach a video when starting the laptop, Note: I was able to install Monterey by changing the legacy mode in the bios and not efi. I've used EFI file as EFI.Opencore.NoteBook.KabyLake.MOD from the downloads. However when the PC restarts after MacOS installation finished to SSD, it won't boot from what could be the reason? When you finis installation FROM usb, copy EFI to HDD/ssd mount EFI from usb install and copy that EFI to ssd/HDD but you before delete EFI from HDD. Use Clover for that.
