I don't remember making any i2c patch (I don't even know what that means xd)


My trackpad was working with no problems with your Mojave image before I replaced my EFI folder with yours




EDIT: nevermind. I fixed it :D


I deleted the folders "kexts" and "drivers64uefi" from your EFI folder and I pasted my old ones there. Then I copied "Voodoo2C.kexts" from your EFI folder and I pasted it on mine. Finally I cleared caches and everything is working so far! :D

Epsylon, mine too, but need some injectors in many cases, is common

 

- The mouse stuttering stopped after the first reboot. I'll try out those kexts for the wifi.

- Hotplug and USB-C works on the thunderbolt (with SSDT-Z370-TB3HP.aml Do I need SSDT-DTPG.aml too??)

- The 8700K goes up to 3.7GHz max now, before was going up to 4.3GHz.

- Geekbench works again but the score has gone down a lot. I used to get over 6000 on a single core, now it scores just over 5000.

Same with Cinebench, performance has gone really down:(

- Sleep doesn't work.

Thank you, I have found something strange with audio.


On a fresh boot the sound does not work, if I press 'Sleep' the computer sleeps for a second then immediately wakes up. The sound then works after wake.


Do you have any idea why sound would only work after pressing sleep then waking?


I've followed the guide you suggested and nothing seems to fix it.


Unfortunately the laptop does not sleep, I press sleep it goes off momentarily and then the screen comes back on.


When I close the lid the display goes off but the laptop doesn't sleep either.


Do you know what could be wrong?

I reran the RunMe and generated the .zip again so there are no ambiguities. Upon your suggestion, I also used GenericXHCIUSB.kext which solved my USB problem and now the USB ports on the rear of my computer work too. Should I remove the USBInjectAll.kext? Also I think the instant wake in my sleep is caused by USB device? I could be wrong.


Update: I have patched your given DSDT with Rehabman USB _PRW instant wake patch and now my pc does go to sleep but it doesn't wake upon hitting the power button. PC just turns on its hard disk for a second and then goes down.


Update2: And now it's back to the same issue. It doesn't go to sleep.

this is an old DSDT, I have since got a RX 560, however I can't get graphics acceleration to work. Was wondering if you could please have a look over my runme files and see if anything needs adjusting. I thought this card would work without any kext patching :( had to kext patch for radeon hd 6850 and it was not easy :( thank you! - BTW , thought it was time I made a donation. thanks again

I tried this one too. Same result. Screen goes black for 1 seconds then comes back to normal. I am attaching the output pmset -g log command in this txt file. Maybe this can help. I am sorry for being such a burden on you.

Installed Mojave 10.14.3 so far so good booting from Clover each time, however unable to turn on wifi, even external tp link rt722 v1 or 2 with V2 drivers installed please have a glance on my sys info and advise or create patch to fix problems please and how to apply it once ready.


other than that audio work fine can't open video files from secondary HDD

I fixed the audio issue by updating to the latest AppleALC.kext & lilu.kext.

I just have one question about my first hackintosh: Ga Z170XP

Before was everything ok, now experienced strange behaviour: each time I power on machine, everything starts normal for one second and then restarts itself and start normaly... maybe know what is this?
