Mirone
Hi, Mirone! Just tested it: no, it doesn't worked. Just like the anterior one, this one gets loaded and makes my jacks all appear correctly at System Information, yet i got no sound and no device available in System Preferences. Is there any info i could add that would help you in this quest? Anyway, thank you very much for all you're doing. I was almost giving up when i first post here. Now i'm confident it will work in the end. Thank you! We are on the path to success.

TheConnactic
Try this: http://cl.ly/3T1h3z2g1P3z Hi, Mirone! No luck yet! Same result as before. I checked my S/L/E folder to look for any extension that could be confliting with AppleHDA (i.e.: VoodooHDA or HDAEnabler) and found nothing. Thank you very much! xow
Hi guy i am the one that looking for this , i knew your guy around here. I found this VoodooHDA-v2.7.4.r63.zip or http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2746&page=2 it's just magic for my audio alc269. I got AppleHDA.kext from http://www.osx86.net/view/3177-applehda_alc269_mountain_lion_version__...html But you may not need them. It's work fine without HDAEnabler.kext. Marone, you so great helping guy. If i have more skill i must do that too. I got to sleep now….Zz.zzz

Could you explain me the details of what you did, so i myself can help others with the same issue in the future? When and if you have time, of course. Thank you once more! TheConnactic
hi guy, tells me this is all working ie mics, speakers and headset. I told him we were in the right path to success I'm writing a guide on how to fix applehda will be ready soon. Very good! But anyway, i'm afraid i cried victory too soon: My outputs (speakers and headphone) worked like a charm. Play music like a boss. But my mic input (both internal and external) are not being recognized by System Preferences and i can get no sound input. Sorry for it, i should have checked it out better. Anyway, we're almost there, i suppose P.S.: In System Preferences, only Headphone output shows up. But both outputs are working quite well, i exaustively tested them, both with and without headphones connected. Only the inputs remain broken. Mirone
hi, TheConnactic Fly telling me that your headphones and speakers work perfectly. But their internal and external mics do not work? neither? sends me a printscreen of system preferences / sound / output and system preferences / sound / input. Here they go, and also a screenshot from System Information/Audio. Yes, Mirone, speakers/headphones work very well (thank you!), i tested both, and i can tell for sure the quality of my audio improved from Voodoo HDA. Strangely, both speakers and headphone work, but in System Preferences, as you can see, only the headphones out is listed. No, unfortunately the mics don't work at all, either the built in or the external mic jack To clarify, none of my sound inputs work. However, the sound outputs (speaker, headphone jack) both work like a champ. About the headphones/speakers issue, i just realized it (screenshot attached) so it does not bother me Thank you very much, Mirone! xow
Hi, guy i got miss understanding from last post. The VoodooHDA-v2.7.4.r63.pkg will move AppleHDA.kext to /Backup Extensions. Install VoodooHDA.kext to S/L/E, VoodooHDA.prefPane to S/L/P and VoodooHdaSettingsLoader to /Applications. after adding VoodooHdaSettingsLoader.app to Login Items. setting in system preference -> sound -> output -> speaker(ATAPI) and system preference -> sound -> input -> Microphone(ATAPI) Then ALC269 will worked bypass AppleHDA file. TheConnactic
sound not working for your? try this: http://cl.ly/3u1x0V312e2d Mirone, now we've got at the gates of success here! 95% working! Both built-in and external mic working like a boss! (screenshot attached) Both the headphones and speakers appears either in System Preferences or clicking+option at the speaker icon (screenshot attached) but only the headphones actually output sound. The speakers are always silent no matter the setup. Skype detects this correctly - on it, only the headphones option is shown (screenshot attached). Thank you very much indeed for you effort, man! You're being really cool! Archive.zip
