open . /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleSystemInfo.framework/Versions/A/Resources/English.lproj/

 

and edit file

if you don't use English language, just edit correct file!

Add 0x0a05 in CpuType in your config.plist, Cpu tab

Olá! Eu fiz o Hackintosh no meu Dell Inspiron 14 3442 e as coisas estão funcionando normalmente, menos o processador que tá lento.

Acho que tem que ser aplicado patchers no DSDT, mas não sei como fazer isso. Alguém pode me ajudar?

If it's showing as the wrong CPU, though cosmetic I know, can that be fixed the same way by changing whatever one of them is doing it? (Or something weird voodoo gonna happen back there?)

As in my 8700K is listed as i5 and not i7. Previously I did have the text at unknown CPU, this isn't exactly unknown, it's just mis-known.

OpenCore..  I'm guessing that Apple used an 8700 i5 variant and it's picking up on that, instead of resolving to UnknownCPU.
