Update: SSDT for EHxx & unsupported xHci devices

Update: Upgraded graphics card to native support Radeon RX580. Bios setting required. See post 8:

Update: WTXUP Broadcom BCM943602CS 1750Mbps 802.11ac Wireless PCI-E WiFi Adapter+ Bluetooth 4.0 works with no kext. Use Wifi Fake Device ID: 0x43a014e4 in clover (19/8/2018)

This is an old build but still running strong on the latest High Sierra. I hope this mini guide will be useful for the community.

A. The Ingredients:

 

1. GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 (rev. 1.0)

2. Update Bios to version U1D(UEFI BIOS) 2013/03/06

3. Nvidia GTX750 2GB (Intel HD 2000 is not supported in High Sierra)

4. DDR3 1600MHZ 16GB

5. ASMedia ASM1142 PCIe USB 3.1

6. WTXUP Broadcom BCM943602CS 1750Mbps 802.11ac Wireless PCI-E WiFi Adapter+ Bluetooth 4.0

7. Olarila High Sierra 10.13.6 USB Stick

8. SMBIOS iMac12,2

And just like that, I had upgraded my old GTX750 to an all new natively supported Radeon RX580.


Just needed to change bios settings:


OS type > Windows 8 WHQL

CSM Support > Never


For Clover use Aptiomemoryfix-64.efi driver instead.


Using the latest commit of whatevergreen and lilu kexts, HDMI audio and Graphics acceleration is a no problem. No further settings required in clover. And I am still using SMbios 12,2 :D

I am trying to install 10.13.6 on my H97 system

1. Are you using Oalrila image? 2. Did you set bios for AHCI? 3. Have you wiped your HDD/SSD using disk utility to use GUID partition and format as HFS or apfs?

1 - downloaded high sierra from app store

2 - yes it is on AHCI

3 - have formatted with GUID partition but after every boot it converts my ssd to apfs .. i am trying to solve this from last 2 days tried different methods but same error

Iirc High Sierra will automatically use apfs by default

ok but I have tried somany things but still same error booted like 200 times using different bios settings and different kexts

stage 1 success in stage 2 while booting from ssd .. window pops up saying 10 min remains and than this window saying macos could not be installed in your computer

SO FINALLY I REMOVED MY GRAPHIC CARD AND IT WORKED...thank you sooooo much for your support ...

now how to boot without pen drive and how to Install other kexts ... audio works fine plus I had driver for my wifi dongle and it worked and i have installed my Nvidia drivers but its not allowing me to boot with my card how to solve that and I can't boot without pen drive ...

I can relate to that big time as i had issues using unishit an then having kexts in the other folder always gave kp :wallbash
