Hi Maldon,

I currently run high sierra on my x99 - 5960x - gtx970 setup

I bought a radeon VII and plan to make a new system with catalina.

Here are the files I dumped with my current setup (note that i will replace the graphics card with radeon vii)

Thank you for my patched file. I think I successfully installed or injected what I needed to get usb to work but. Is there a way to get USB3 to work on IVY bridge machines. I saw guide you referenced but its only for Skylake and above?

Do I still use injects kext? USB works but it just shows two usb 2.0 hubs not one usb2 and one usb3

u need remove usbinjectall

connect devices usb into usb 3 ports and extract new send_me

I sent you a file with the usbinject kext deleted from the other folder. If its not showing up it may be because the kext is missing. Nothing changed in bios. Is there a place to upload the file on this message board. Or I can continue this on the donator page.

I have sent you a new file. the USBs are working without the kext however sound and PCI etc are not.

So I loaded your iMac files. Audio works, It doesn't see the usb3 in SYS Info

So all ports work as usb2 but the usb3 one do not work as usb3.

However Hacktool shows the USB controllers properly even though they do not work as usb3. See Screenshot.

we need test some things, first replace kexts folder, reboot and test
