warra
Hi, I've installed ML 10.8.3 successfully, one issue for me is wake from sleep, sleep works but when I'm trying to login I can't write password. System log show: " The USB device HubDevice (Port 1 of Hub at 0x1a000000) may have caused a wake by issuing a remote wakeup (2)". I must fix my DSDT? (I applied all patches for my TK85). I need native wifi (cause WiFi Atheros AR9285 kext works but it shows the wifi card as an ethernet and i can't see the real ethernet card on the laptop), audio (voodoohda works but i prefer to not install kext if possibile), battery (it doesn't show me the battery indicator) brightness control (it doesn't work) and sleep functionality. If you want and If you can, please add others hardware compatibility to that file. It's for an HP dv6-3012el Many thanks DSDT.zip

MattisLind
Hello Experts! I am completely new to hackintoshing so I am learning a lot. I have put together an old Asus p5W DH Deluxe mobo with Core2Duo E6400 CPU, Nvidia Geforce 8600GT and 4 Gigabyte 800 MHz memory. I installed it using MyHack 3.1.2 (multishit would give me PCI configuration begin hang). Then I started fiddling with the DSDT. I applied the following patches successfully:DTGP, ICH7 LPC, EHCI, IRQs, EHCI sleep The machine still boots, but gets occasional KPs at boot, probably due to VooDooHDA. Speedstepping was working, I could verify it to switch between 1,6 GHz and 2.13 GHz. But not sleep. Then I regognized that the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext was still loaded. I found it burried in a myHack.kext. Removed it and then the machine could sleep (but not wake up). But the Speedstepping feature were gone. It was fixed at 1.6 GHz. Cinebench was significanly slower. SMC Monitor gives this for P&C states: 2136 0 10 10 2085 1 1869 0 10 10 1826 2 1602 0 10 10 1565 3  But it simply won't switch. I have <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> in org.chameleon.Boot.plist This is the boot log: Mar 29 18:15:34 localhost bootlog[0]: BOOT_TIME 1364577334 0 Mar 29 18:15:55 localhost kernel[0]: Darwin Kernel Version 12.2.0: Sat Aug 25 00:48:52 PDT 2012; root:xnu-2050.18.24~1/RELEASE_X86_64 Mar 29 18:15:55 localhost kernel[0]: vm_page_bootstrap: 1010027 free pages and 30357 wired pages Mar 29 18:15:55 localhost kernel[0]: kext submap [0xffffff7f80741000 - 0xffffff8000000000], kernel text [0xffffff8000200000 - 0xffffff8000741000] Mar 29 18:15:55 localhost kernel[0]: zone leak detection enabled Mar 29 18:15:55 localhost kernel[0]: standard timeslicing quantum is 10000 us Mar 29 18:15:55 localhost kernel[0]: standard background quantum is 2500 us Mar 29 18:15:55 localhost kernel[0]: mig_table_max_displ = 74 Mar 29 18:15:55 localhost kernel[0]: Refusing new kext com.apple.driver.AppleRTC, v1.5: already have prelinked v1111.0. MattisLind
Hello! Thank you for pointing it out. Unfortunately it didn't work out for me. It gets stuck at PFM64 (36 cpu) 0xf8000000, 0x00000000 [ PCI configuration begin ] RTC: Only single RAM bank (128 bytes) Â I forgot to mention that the BIOS version is the latest, 3002. I also have been fiddling with Audio, replacing VooDooHDA which gives me KPs everyother boot. I tried the patches for ALC882 as indicated in http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=749 But couldn't get it working. I cannot see that AppleHDA is loaded. In /Extra/Extensions I have AppleHDA and HDAEnabler but none of them is loaded. I compared with the ALC883 patches and changed codec-id to xxxx883. But no difference. I modified the "LayoutID" in AppleHDA to 12. But no change as well.. Any hints what I could do here? /Mattis

I appended the original DSDT. The pathches I have applied this far is: DTGP, IHC7 LPC, EHCI, IRQs, EHCI sleep, HDEF, HDEF_DSM and SBUS. Now there are no errors reported in the kernel log file. Comparing my set of patches to the P5W DH Deluxe patches you pointed out I found some differences: My set does not include these patches: "HID para CID", Shutdown. What are their purpose? And the following patches I cannot find matching patches in the download section, what are they doing? into device label SPKR remove_entry; into device label FDC remove_entry; into device label FDC0 remove_entry; into device label LPT1 remove_entry; into device label LPTE remove_entry; into device label LPT remove_entry; into device label ECP1 remove_entry; into device label MEM remove_entry; into device label ^^RMEM remove_entry;  The HDEF patch in the P5W DH Deluxe patch-set refers to "parent_label PCI0" rather than "parent_hid PNP0A08". What is the difference? My problem right now: Audio is only working with VooDooHDA, but it gives me KP at startup sometimes. I guess that I have to dig into the AppleHDA area extracting CODEC information etc. By the way, is there a simple way of producing a diff between DSDT files, getting those nice patches you are producing? I cannot see that function in DSDT editor and google wasn't very helpful to me. EDIT: I found that by disabling USBLegacySupport in the BIOS the machine would wake up. The only drawback is that you cannot enter in to chameleon boot menu since keyboard doesn't work without LegacySupport. Tried USBBusFix=Yes. No difference. EDIT2: By changing the Mac type to Mac Pro 3,1 speedstepping started to work. /Mattis DSDT.aml.zip Edited April 1, 2013 by Guest

I have a i3-350M processor with intel hd graphics first gen (no dedicated gpu). If I istall the appleintelhdgraficsFB.kext I get a spinning wheel and the apple logo than after a few seconds I have a white screen. Maybe if we create a good dsdt I have have the FB working.
