I'm new on this but I'm trying to instal Catalina (10.15.3) on my Ryzen ensamble which is Ryzen 7 2700 Asus Rog strix b450 Team group 2x8Gb 3200 Mhz XFX rx5500 xt 8Gb gpu Also a 750w 80+ gold corsair I tried a EFI carpet from a video on Youtube but it shows the Apple Logo and a bar, it charges but at the end nothing happens, not even the utility disk, just get stucked for hours. So I tried some other with worst results and tries clover but didn't work so well (or i don't know how to use it) I wanna try OpenCore but i don't have any windows (and I think is the only way to use it completely) Also I read that xfx is not recomended for ryzentosh but other people say it doesn't matter the brand.
