5k Display on with AMD RX560 not showing no scaling options

Recommended Posts

Hello!

First thanks for the great instructions to get Ventura installed with opencore! I was struggling to move on with clover.

I have successfully installed Ventura on my Hardware.
Graphics are working with HDMI and Displayport on 4k monitors as expected. When I connect the 5k display Prestige PS341WU - MSI via DP no scaling options are shown and only 50hz is offered at 5120 x 2160.
When disconnecting DP and using HDMI (here not all resolutions are available) and then connecting only DP again, I can set the correct resolution with 60hz and choose scaling (2560x1080). I checked under system report that the display is indeed operating at 5120 x 2160 now. waking up from sleep works with correct display settings coming back

Unfortunately after next reboot these settings are gone and the monitor is back with 50 hz and no scaling options.

any help would be much appreciated
