Keep in mind that S3 sleep is broken with this Dell XPS 9500. It works great with macOS, but the laptop never goes to sleep. If it goes to sleep it does not wake up properly. It gets stuck on the Dell logo and you ill have to power off the laptop and boot again. I though I'd share my experience with this laptop model. I tried a lot of things to make it work, but Dell has decided to not support S3 sleep on BIOS level. Maybe they will fix it in the future, but it has been almost 2 years now since this issue has been reported an they haven't done anything about it.
