rfincher
Hi Matpratik, I have just followed your guide to install iAtkos -S3 -V2 on my HP Compaq Presario C700. Your guide is clear and accurate. Thank you. After successful installation (big green tick!), the Chameleon boot screen appears, the timeout passes, and then the computer returns to the BIOS boot screen. The process then repeats endlessly. Tracking through the boot process with -x -v, on the 17th page scroll, the display ends with stuff like: ACPI table not found:DSDT.aml No DSDT found, using 0 as uid value Using PCI-Root-UID value = 0 Intel GMAX3100 [8086:2a02} :: PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) . . . Customising System ID with : ebe04f4d-..........etc (UUID number) ACPI table not found: DSDT.aml ACPI table not found: DSDT.aml FADT: Restart Fix applied! FADT: Restart Fix applied! Releasing the pause after this, the computer reboots and the process repeats over and over. Can you suggest a fix please? Rob

Rob  First of all this Laptop is DSDT free so no need any DSDT.aml If you got restart every time that's issue of Chameleon for that first you need to boot from iAtkos DVD and choose mac drive after successfully boot then open then open /Extra folder and delete the Theam folder and add this strings in Org.Chameleon.Boot.plist " GraphicsEnabler= Yes USBFix= Yes UHCIreset= Yes " once you done and install Chimera1.11 boot loader on it and try Quote HackBook Pro :-HP DV6-6121 TX (Win 10 Pro + macOS 10.13.6 + OC ) Hac Pro:-GA-B365-D3H, Core i5 9440F AMD RX 580 8 GB (Win 10 Pro + macOS 10.15.7 + Big Sur Beta ) Hac Pro:-z97 sabertooth mark 2, Core i7- i7 4790k with GT 740 2GB and 32 GB Ram (OC+Catalina) iHack:- Assus M2N68-AM-SE2,AMD Athlon+LE-1640,250 SSD ,4GB DD3 800MHZ Nvidia 9400GT (win 10 and 10.9.5+10.10.5) iHack:-GA875M-D3H ,core-i5 3250,NVDIA 610-2GB 27"LED,8GB DDR3 1600mhz, (Only 10.10.5+10.11.6 with CLOVER) iHack:-GA-78LMT-S2PT ,AMD Phenom II-X2 560,Radeon 6770 1 GB ,onboard Radeon HD 3000 not tested 4 GB DDR-3 1333 MHZ (10.11.6+Win 10 pro) Special thanks....  To Genius donovan6000 For Mode Bios (WiFi +BT Whitelist removed) & Amazing Hackintosh Guides and tutorial and much more visit this blog Hackintosh Mumbai
rfincher
Hi again Matpratik, and thanks for quick reply! If I try to boot from iAtkos DVD and HDD with 10.6.3 installed (Macompaq), the screen goes black, then returns to the Compaq Boot screen. It is in a loop, and after 10-20 secs, it returns to the Chameleon boot screen! So because I can't actually boot into 10.6.3, I can't get into the /Extras folder to remove the files you suggested. Also I can't load Chimera 1.11 if I can't get into 10.6.3. I've tried a clean install too, but the same thing happens. Perhaps the iAtkos DVD is faulty? Any more thoughts? Thanks Rob PS What time zone are you in? I'm in Melbourne GMT + 10 hours.
