PekuFin
Hi to all. Â Long time reader, first time poster. :flag-fi After reading different guides and tutorials all over the internet, I have managed to install macOS Catalina to my Fujitsu Lifebook laptop. Everything else is working fine except built-in display and internal speakers and mic. I have literally tried every possible ig-platform-id for the display but no as also every layout-id for sound. No luck. Built-in display works only when I plug external monitor to laptop. Then both built-in and external monitor works flawlessly. All the layout-id's for my ALC282 codec results kernel panic. And the built-in displays backlight turns on when I try to use my laptop without external monitor, but still no image in eDP. I have spend about a month or so trying to solve this problem and no luck. That's the reason I am posting here and literally begging for help. I did run_me.app dump which results you can view from the Google Drive link provided. Thanks in advance and have great day! PekuFin
FINALLY! I got it working! Yay! I added to boot-args "agdpmod=vit9696" and built-in display started working. I was so desperate that I tried that boot-arg even though it is meant for AMD GPUs. Nevertheless, I hope this small piece of info finds those who are struggling with the same problem that I had. Have a great weekend!
