Installing High Sierra using TransMac Problem

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone!

I am trying to install to my Windows HP Laptop, mac OS High Sierra. I have both the .dmg image file downloaded as well as the Olarila High Sierra 2020.raw.bz2 file. I do not own a Mac and cant make a boot loader with clover. So my option, if i understand things correctly is to use TransMac in order to make the bootable usb. I format my usb for mac use and restore the image file through transmac. I have made a partition in my C drive for the installation of the MAC OS.

Is this how should i proceed? Because for some reason i cannot get the laptop to boot from the USB. I am missing something?

Any help is much appreciated!
