zeeshan hamdani Posted April 21, 2020 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Hiii, I was recently able to install catalina 10.15.4 on my HP 15 laptop. Specs:Â Core i5 7200u 8GB RAM 1 TB + 256 GB HDD AMD R5 M430.(I do not need this in Hackintosh). When I boot with cpus=1 the boot process takes about 40secs to a minute. (Acceptable given it's a 7200rpm hard drive). Without it boot time jumps up to to 3 - 4 mins. I have VoodooTSCSync kext in my efi folder. Is that even required? I used rehabmans intel hd 620 config and modified it a little for my laptop. I've attach the results from run_me diagnostic app. Hoping to hear from someone soon. Thanks. Keeps freezing. With cpus=1 or cpus=2, I can get much better performance. Mine was notebook chipsets series (Kaby lake). Cant find that webpage any more. Edit: I found the webpage through a quick google search. I've download Olarila folder for kaby lake notebook 2. Added 0x59160000 as ig-platform-id (I enabled the transparent dock). 3. Enabled rename ec0 to ec patch in clover configurator. 4.
