# Solução 2 método Off Road: O display que apresenta este problema tem um cabo conector preto e o display que funciona perfeitamente o cabo é cinza, uma vez que vc troque o display pelo que tem o cabo cinza vai funcionar.

Estou usando Mountain Lion 10.8.2

O problema:

1 - De tempos em tempos a tela da uma congelada e depois volta a funcionar normalmente.

2 - As vezes aparecem algumas sujeiras na tela, resquicios de uma janela

Testes realizados

Snow Leopard: 10.6.0 até 10.6.8 o problema continua.

Lion: 10.7.0 o problema acontece menos

Lion: 10.7.1 piora um pouco

Lion: 10.7.2 torna-se impossível de usar

O DSDT foi extraido com DSDT Editor

A máquina possuí 4GB de RAM (retirei 4GB para testes, continua assim)

Outros testes que eu faria:

- usar o GraphicsEnabler do Chimera, ele injeta algumas propriedades que talvez ajudem

Veja se na DSDT tem o method DOFF, se tiver outro nome, por exemplo GPUOFF, substitua todas as ocorrências

Ele não menciona o desligamento da nVidia, talvez não seja necessário (mesmo assim acho que vale a pena pela duração da bateria).

Se não tem nada na DSDT, talvez esteja numa SSDT, extraia todas as tabelas usando um live CD do Linux

Eu já tentei com este guia, mas acontece o mesmo problema. Então refiz tudo e coloquei algumas coisas que ainda não tinha feito.

agora estou com 10.7.2 com kexts básicas + AppleHDA + patch no gerenciamento de energia

Continuo a ter o problema .

Estou anexando o DSDT, o oldnapalm conseguiu patchear o DSDT mas também não surtiu resultados.

Veja isto que estranho também (a moldura da janela, me parece desproporcional o artefato)

Mesmo usando a kext para desabilitar a nvidia (Carregada com sucesso conforme kernel.log) continuo a ter os congelamentos.

A diferença é que o dele é desktop, então teve que tirar o conector LVDS e os outros 3 ficaram funcionando sem lag. No seu caso pode ser o mesmo problema, teria que remover um ou mais conectores que existem na kext mas não existem no laptop, e talvez corrigir a ordem deles na tabela.

Na kext do Mohamed Khairy ele deixou apenas LVDS e VGA

Olá pessoal, no meu notebook aqui, com ou sem edição de kext / dsdt nao consigo reproduzir esse erro, aqui nunca dá essa travada, tanto com nvidia lligada como desligada, bluetooth ligado e desligado, wireless, nunca consigo essa travada q vcs falam, a id da minha intel hd 3000 é 0126 tentem alterar a id da de vcs no _DSM para essa 0126 e vejam os resultados ah e ativem o dual link ok ?

fica a sugestão.

Tentei também o seu device 0x26 mas continuo a ter o problema.

Mas só consigo usar um ou outro, os dois não dá por que funcionam no mesmo lugar.

Editei com modigliani-inteHD3000_Patch, e deixei só a LVDS, configurada para 1 dispositivo e as outras entradas coloquei 0.

A única mudança que tive fazendo isto é que agora antes de entrar no ambiente gráfico, aparece a tela azul, a maça em tela cinza e finalmente o ambiente gráfico. Antes não aparecia a maça, só ficava tudo cinza. Mas ainda assim ta dando o problema. Eu estou com 10.7.2

Desculpa se eu estiver fando besteira, pois ainda sou leigo nesse assunto..

No meu elitebook 8460p, eu reparei q a kext appleintelhd3000 estava carregando com erro, eu removi ela e os plugins respectivos, e ele ficou totalmente estavel, mais o QE/CI nao funcionou.

Quando ele esta carregando ele diz que appleintelhd3000graphics nao foi encontrado no graphicsfamily...

Pelo que percebi, o que esta deixando o sistema instavel é a kext AppleIntelHD3000Graphics.kext

Eu deixei somente os plugins, mesmo assim sem QE/CI, logicamente precisa da kext...

Não é besteira, isso é o normal e foi bem observado.

Um indicador de que a kext AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB (framebuffer) está funcionando é que você consegue ajustar a resolução.

Um indicador de que a kext AppleIntelHD3000Graphics está funcionando é que você tem aceleração.

Se o problema não ocorre sem a AppleIntelHD3000Graphics talvez o problema seja nela e não na AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.

A única coisa que encontrei sobre essa kext é o VRAM size, o Modigliani disse que testou e não deu resultado

Eu não tenho nenhuma máquina com esse vídeo, não tenho como testar.

Realmente meu problema esta no appleintelhd3000, eu fiz tambem o teste do vramsize e não teve nenhuma alteração...

Pelo menos eu sei qual o problema agora, o snb esta perfeito, o dsdt tambem, o problema ta nesta kext....

Quem tem esse vídeo tem que correr atrás, senão vai ser mesmo difícil resolver.

Aqui o cara diz que se livrou dos "artefatos" simplesmente alterando o perfil de cores (preferências do sistema, monitores)

Finalmente a solução

Este note é um dos mais baratos do mercado e que oferece bom hardware. Muitos projetos de fabricação industrial passam por algum problema mas para não gerar prejuízo para a empresa acabam encontrando um meio de ser comercializados. Vamos supor que este LCD tem um lote de 30 mil peças, sendo 8 mil apresenta um problema com a motherboard fabricada para ele, então para não perder estes 3 mil se fabrica uma nova motherboard com uma placa de vídeo alternativa em que não apresente o problema do LCD já fábricado, então este defeito passa a ser um atrativo publicitário por que a máquina agora tem modelos com e sem aceleração ou seja quem usar este display com a nvidia não vai ter o problema mas quem usar com intel vai, então este LCD passa a ser comercializado somente para as máquinas que estão com nvidia por que se for só intel vai dar problema e é obvio que quem comprou uma máquina com placa nvidia vai usar a aceleração da nvidia. Já as unidades do LCD que não apresentaram o defeito são instaladas nas placas que só tem a intel hd 3000.

Ao contrário do que eu vinha pensando que poderia ser um problema do processador com a placa ou da placa mãe, o problema estava sendo causado pelo LCD(Display), substituindo o display por um outro o problema foi resolvido e as mensagens no log deixaram de aparecer.

Pena que aparentemente não tem outra solução senão trocar o LCD.

O problema não ocorre no Windows? Me parece que também acontece em alguns laptops que só tem Intel HD, sem placa de vídeo discreta.

Eu não testei desinstalar os drivers da nvidia no windows e tentar usar somente a aceleração da Intel HD 3000. A única coisa que consigo pensar sobre pessoas tendo este problema e usando intel são displays do lote defeituoso instalados nestas máquinas. Se alguém que esta tendo este problema pudesse fazer um teste rodando um jogo em windows usando a aceleração da intel hd 3000 seria bom. O meu display com problema já foi embora. Uma coisa que notei é que o cabo do display que funcionou para mim é diferente do que estava antes, ele é cinza e o outro é preto.
