Black Screen with Sapphire RX570 - Intel G620 and Intel DH67BL motherboard

My config:

Intel G620 (sandybridge)

Intel DH67BL

8 GB DDR3

I installed Mac OS mojave without any problems on the above config. Mac OS detected Intel HD2000 and my internet was also working. I did not go ahead with copying of EFI folder to SSD because I was just testing. Since the boot with IGPU was successfull, I installed the RX570 4GB in the first PCIE slot, and attempted to boot. Initially the display was up and I could read the boot messages but then suddenly the screen goes black. My monitor is connected the the graphics card via HDMI.

I then tried to do a fresh install with RX570 installed in the system. I disabled IGPU, enabled UEFI booting. Intially I get display and verbose boot messsages but then suddenly the screen goes black and stays that way. Unplugging plugging monitor does not help. Please help
