Mavericks on HP 630

hello guys,

so I've seen some videos on youtube of Hp's 630 running Mavericks, I'd like to install it on mine too.

I've used Niresh and I've reached the installer with command boot flags : -x -f -v graphicsenabler=no cpus=1 , once installed, it won't go onto the system, even with those boot flags,

Specs :

Intel Core i3 370M 2,4Ghz

4Gb RAM

Intel® HD Graphics

Your best choice would be a retail installation, using an image of the forum here

I have finally installed it on my laptop, I moved the graphics kext and It worked,

I have also No QE/CI, only video 64MB memory who shows one resolution.

No Sound

No Wifi

what should I do please ? thank you

I've followed that tutorial but only native resolution showed.. launcherpad and notification center are lagging .. dvd player doesn't open up..

like u read in tutorial many people achieve to get qe/ci

revise ur procedures..

still no get nothing .. post there ur problem.. here nobody have that graphics.. so is hard to help u more..

Got the graphics fully working ! I have 10.9 but installed 10.9.4 kexts !

and it's working !!

what wifi u have ?

post wifi dev id and vendor id.. must do always this.. tell u install a kext and don't work.. nobody can help u .. with that kind of info

Sorry about that, here's the informations about it :

Atheros : AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) Ven ID : 168c Dev ID : 002b

I've tried AtherosWifiInjector.Kext and IO80211Family.kext, with first one, wifi shows on statusbar but say there's no device installed, the second one recognize my Wifi card, but does not detect network.

go back to the original kext and install this one: toledaARPT.kext.rar

 

and go to network and enable the wifi.
