Currently boot is panicking at "Should have 24 cores, but only found 16 for die 0". Do I need to disable E-Cores? Thanks! I should mention this, is trying to boot to the Ventura 13.3 installer. If I disable the E-Cores, boot hangs at SetPowerState. Thanks again! Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. trus0und Posted March 31, 2023 Author Share Posted March 31, 2023 It was due to being plugged into a USB3 port yeah - I had an adpater that made it USB2 and I am at the installer. If I already have a Windows install on another NVME drive will I need to do anything special to boot to it? Hi Maldon, Up and running and got Ventura installed. Also, I am having an issue where after sleeping the Hack for a while (maybe 6 hours) my ethernet stops working until I completely power off the maching at the wall for about 10 seconds and power it back on. Not ideal but it will do for me! I had a couple of questions. I am trying to learn more about creating a clean opencore install using the normal release and also trying to see if I can use a Mac Pro smbios. I also got a Thunderbolt EX4 card which is working, but I am trying to get hotplugging going. Do you have any experience with this? Thanks!
