Hello, i have a weird issue when i want to install moneterey on my machine.

it seems that the EFI I have build seems to work, but there is maybe some graphic related stuff happening ?

So the stuff i experience is that i select the install section from the boot menu (opencore) then stuff shows up and my cpus are getting listed and every output seems to be ok.

then the next step would be that the setup wizard starts. (i guess so).

This is not happening, it just reboots and i am back @ boot menu thats all.

Has someone experienced something similar before ?

I am now stuck at another error

"An error occurred preparing the software update"

I tried to allow ThirdPartyDrivers, and try again with clean install.

I selected the option "recovery mode" from boot menu.I erased the prev macos install and reformated the disk.I tried a new install.Error Message: "An error occurred preparing the software update"

Its like, im installing the macos on the ssd, then its rebooting, i am seeing a loading screen with "x minutes remaining" then if its finished i am seeing the update assistant with the error message

I tried the vanilla approach again and didn't want to give up i had a better feeling there, I made some instinctive small changes in my EFI and now it is working. i was able to successfully install Big Sur 11.7.

now i will try with installing from a i9 monterey onto ssd and patch my efi into it and see if it boots i did this previously from my m1 but was not able to see the system. i think its cause of the ARM arch
