I have been trying to upgrade to Monterey but I am running into the error below. I have not found a solution, maybe I am not properly searching for it. Any help is appreciated. jr3k Posted October 1, 2022 Author Share Posted October 1, 2022 Just tried now. It passes the error and the verbose mode takes over, but after a little bit it just reboots. jr3k Posted October 2, 2022 Author Share Posted October 2, 2022 yes, USB2. I have managed to upgrade to Monterey. I had to reset NVRAM every time there was a new step in the installation. NOw, after the upgrade I can only reach the system login page if I do a NVRAM reset first. Also, the graphics are ''gone'', I have only one monitor out of 3 working. Any ideas? Fixed the Graphic problem by using the Geforce-Kepler-Pacher application. Now I need to see if I can figure it out the boot thing. I have noticed that if I keep trying without resetting nvram, it will eventually boot. jr3k Posted October 2, 2022 Author Share Posted October 2, 2022 I think I was happy too early with the Geforce patcher. After turning my computer off for a couple of hours, I cannot access it anymore. Keep getting the new attached error. Also, because of that I had to reinstall BigSur, and even though I had a Time Machine backup, apparently now you can only use the Migration option to recover your files. Quite frustrating.
