Sound after sleep

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

Have VIA VT1802 audio controller.

Works fine with VoodooHDA or patched AppleHDA (except mic).

But i have no sound after wakeup.

While i use VoodooHDA it gives error in dmesg:

error: numPcmDevices is zero

While i use AppleHDA it gives bunch of 'sound assertation in dmesg.

I think it's DSDT releated problem.

I found something about power management here

Help me with this problem

Just tried :)

Here dmesg before and after (except first 3 lines) sleep:

CodecCommander::init: Initializing
CodecCommander::init: make ASUS
CodecCommander::probe: Probing
CodecCommander::start: Starting
CodecCommander: command 1470c02 written to ICW register
CodecCommander: status of ICB field changed to 1
CodecCommander: get status of IRV field
CodecCommander: response latched in IRR register, IRV returned valid status 2
CodecCommander: command failed, IRV returned invalid status 2
CodecCommander: IRV field cleared, ready for next command
CodecCommander::power: is on

Checked headphones input and it's working.

After sleep i have no sound from internal speakers and internal mic doesn't work.

I think it's HDEF power releated problem.

If you know ACPI Specs, can you take a look on my DSDT

UPDATE

AppleHDA working for VT1802, except internal mic.

Link to patched version for 10.9
