Maldon kindly disabled it to only use hawaii card for macos, maybe he killed it a bit "too well" Inside vmware, "Prefer External GPU" is unavailable. So is it possible to patch this in a way gtx 1080 can go to vmare app but wont be used by macos displayserver(?) dnakruemel Posted December 11, 2021 Author Share Posted December 11, 2021 update: nvidia shown in pcie in hackintool, all fine However, there was an 800x600px "Display" added. I arranged it out of way and it doesnt bother much. VmWare based on apple hypervisor doesnt allow pcie devices though, i installed the "og" qemu/kvm hypervisor, couldnt load device yet, but that should not be your problemhac 🤠Im out now again, will investigate qemu options next...
