I am getting ready to try to boot it.  I also am spinning up a VM of Catalina to be able to use the MAC tools as people seem to have more success that way then on Windows it seems.

That is what I originally downloaded and shared first upload here.  I even tried removing some of the kexts thinking it would be that and I kept getting the error that I think I shared, it just is a black screen with weird looking error and never boots any further, in the past I've seen a bunch of text run down the screen and then kernel panic with CLOVER and other MAC OS versions.  But with Monterey it just sits there and never does anything after the error.

 

If you check out: https://www.transfernow.net/dl/202111168PTyCpUb this is the same link you sent the Kaby Lake Laptop EFI.  I burned raw image to USB hard drive, and then replaced files in EFI there with the files from Kaby Lake EFI.  I also tweaked config.plist per the OpenCore Install guide...

I'm confused what I'm doing wrong.... I didn't change anything, I added CpuTscSync, same results.....  Any certain boot process?  boot args?  Also, if I am not to change anything then why would CpuTscSync be needed?

Here is what I get no matter what I try.  I have modified EFI, I've left it completely the way it is when I flash it with Etcher or Win32Imager.  I have tried using folder for Kaby Lake as the guide says, I've added some boot args, I've left them alone, I've tweaked the above you mentioned, I've also attempted to look at the opencore guide and make sure my config.plist matches what it says.  All the same result. Absolutely NO boot, just sticks on the image I included.  I also do not get any option when hitting O like the guide says, I assume because it is opencore and not clover?  Should I try replacing EFI with Clover EFI for Kaby Lake and see if I can boot and if not try config2.plist?  I have also used boot args to disable my nvidia 1080 (because online I read that after High Sierra there's no drivers so it causes boot failure) and to use only my Intel HD 630.

 

I am at a lose as I have literally done everything suggested here in this form, the install guide says, the opencore install guide (before attempting olarila at all even), I've tried CLOVER, OpenCore, etc....  I can NOT seem at all to get this thing to boot.  Do I need any other patched APCI other than the one that burns automatically?

Another question, when I burn the .raw image to USB, should it all be on one partition (EFI + install of BigSur or Monterey)?

I'll check it again but I have two drives setup and I've went through the guide a ton of times and set it to what it says it's supposed to be for Kaby Lake.  I'm going to try to enable DevirtualiseMMio now.

Finally got to the point I can install but once installed, I get through everything, and when going to boot into mac OS it freezes on appleactuatordeviceuserclient stop entered.
