[Patch Request] Asus P8Z68 VPRO - BIOS 3203 (not 1101)

Hello! Firstly thanks for providing support to patch Asus boards and make our life easier. Much appreciated!

I have a problem, hopefully you can help.

I downloaded the following 2 patches for ASUS P8Z68 VPRO DSDT patching but it had unfixable errors (142 ERRORS) when I tried to patch them within DSDT editor.

I think this maybe because I am running Bios version 3203 and your P8Z68 VPRO patch maybe for bios version 1101 ?

If this is the case could you please create a new patch for the latest bios version 3203.

If not, any tips or advice on how to fix the errors.

I can paste any code you may need from DSDT editor if it helps create the patch.

New BIOSes have some devices that older BIOSes don't have, you need to adapt the patches.

Test the patch I posted in that topic. If it doesn't work, post the error messages and your original DSDT.

Edit: I posted a new patch in http://Olarila.com/forum/packs.php which should work for Asus P8 boards with new (3xxx) BIOS

HDEF patch is not included, you need to apply it separately.

With the 892 audio patch AppleHDA loads but no pinconfig in ioreg and same assertion errors in console.

Is that AppleHDA patched? What do you need to get it working?

HDA is patched for 892 audio (toleda's HDA). Its supposed to work with only a DSDT edit. Not sure what to try next.

Check if layout-id in DSDT (hex) coincides with LayoutID in AppleHDA (decimal), or use the DSDT edit recommended by toleda.

Both your patch and toledas edit set the layout id to

Buffer (0x04) { 0x7C, 0x03, 0x00, 0x00 }

which is 892 in decimal I believe. There is a corresponding layout892.xml in the kext but it doesn't seem to be found for some reason.
