Lion 10.7.2 installation error, please take a look

Hi guys,

I am taking this message when I installing 10.7.2 in verbose mode :

[sendHCIRequestFormated] ### ERROR: [0x0402] (HCI Inquiry Cancel) -- Send Request Failed (err = 0x0012 (kBluetoothHCIErrorInvalidHCICommandParameters))

Why is this happen ?

P.C. = I used all of flags and didn't work any (lie busratio,cpus, graphics enabler,npci,pci etc.) And on normal boot it is going to apple with rolling circle and it is waiting for a long. And S3 is working normal without a few hardware.

cpus : Intel i7 740 M

Gpu : Geforce GT 425M

Sound : Realtek ALC275

Wi-fi : Atheros 9287

Ethernet : Marvell Yukon 88E8057

Try removing bluetooth kexts from base system.

When i open my iso, i see 3 file relevant to bluetooth. IOBluetoothFamilkext, IOBluetoothHIDdriver and AppleBluetoothMultitouch. Which one of them should i delete ?

I got a similar case (it was a Vaio laptop) and it worked using patches EHCI and IRQs (Sandy Bridge) in DSDT http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=634

Hi bro,

i tried to install L2 with many different ways but no. I get pci begin; fixed it and get error like below in verbose mode :

I deleted IOBluetoothfamily.kext; no error but no boot. These are all in -v mode.

If I use normal boot or -x and the others it is booting, i see apple and rolling circle and it is rolling continously and dvd is stopping. I tried to add DSDT file from windows to installation DVD and nothing change. I am always taking these errors :

Using untouched DSDT from Windows won't help, you have to patch it. Try EHCI, UHCI and IRQs (Notebook Core i Nehalem).

Bro, Are you sure about these errors relevant to processor ? because i didn't take any KP concerned to processor !

I did only basic patching to try fixing your problem, if you get it installed you will have to do it again to have it 100% working.

I want to try Efi boot CD but i cant find working one. Can you upload for me to direct writeable to cd pls ?

If it doesn't work via USB with this dsdt.aml, I have no other idea.

Post a photo of the screen in boot verbose.

Use Wait=yes -v and check if Extra/dsdt.aml is loaded.

Hello Cassio,

I downloaded L1 (10.7.1), i used DSDT that u fixed, i changed relevant folder for PCI Begin error, I changed GraphicsEnabler=No on the bootlist and i installed it -x mode. It is succesfully installed but it is not opening. Waiting on apple logo continously. I tried a lot of commands include Wait=yes -v. But always same sittuation : PCI Begin error !!!! I couldn't understand, cause i patched and i used npci=0x2000 also PCIRootUIG=1 but same.... What u say ?

The same thing you did on the installer base system, you have to do in the installed partition.

Do you mean, change folders and add dsdt to installed partition ? if say yes, how will i do that ? if say no, plesase be more specific

Yes, the same way you did in the installer.

I did it as you said and it is opened in -x mode. But how will i open it in normal boot ?

If you inform what's the problem in normal boot (error messages in boot verbose) maybe someone will be able to tell you the solution.

When I open the system in -f mode ; it's coming a small window and it says 'Apple.......kext and IOPCIfamily.kext didn't install wright' or something like that. And i cant repaier permissions on multishit because of this.

Second, I tried the same things for L2 but it is not loading, it's waiting on apple logo with rolling circle also -x mode.

When you replace IOPCIFamily and AppleACPIPlatform you have to repair their permissions.

My advice: forget things like multishit and L2, and learn how to do it right.

I repaired it with every different ways include with disk utility. But nothing changed. It is still giving me error like i said.
