Open Core (0.8.8) won't boot Linux

Recommended Posts

Hi there.

Thanks to Olarila I was able to run my old Lenovo V110 (i5-7200u/HD620) finally with Ventura. (thanks for that!)

But only.

Meaning: I am still trying to install Linux for dualboot and fail:

Either Linux-Grub takes over or OC can't boot Linux. I seem to have all drivers and the icon for Linux is shown in OC menu but nothing happens.

I managed by (un)checking some things in OCAT (ACPI > Quirks and Booter > Quirks) to boot Linux but then

* Linux won't recognize wifi dapter

and

* macOS is "empty" as Linux was before.

So the problem must be something with OC, I suppose.

Now I am thinking about a pure driver problem because when I boot with the Olarila EFI there is no DVD (Linux install) shown in the OC menu. Could this ba a hint to the problem?

Any ideas?

I'd appreciate help.

Thnx
