Problemas com Wireless: "Self-Assigned Ip Addresss"

Olá pessoal, venho do Linux e resolvi tentar testar Mac OS X.

Estou utilizando o Mountain Lion 10.8.4 disponibilizado aqui no forum por USB. Possuo a placa de rede Atheros AR9287.

O problema é o seguinte: Instalei o kext da placa wireless com sucesso, reiniciei o PC e consegui conectar a minha rede Wireless, porém, o DHCP não funciona corretamente e eu recebo o erro "Self-Assigned Ip Addresss". Ele define um IP estranho e não conecta a internet. Já tentei configurar o DHCP manualmente, utilizar diversos kexts diferentes, resetar o roteador, trocar canais, modo (b/g/n), tirar a senha, etc. Mas nada adianta! =( Alguém aqui já passou pelo mesmo problema e sabe como contornar?

Instalei o kext da placa wireless com sucesso

Não é necessário instalar kext alguma, ela já vem no sistema, só precisa inserir o ID da placa caso não esteja presente, como a 9285

Eu pego o ID da placa pelo System Info, certo?

Só tem um probleminha: eu preciso do Java SE 6 para executar tanto o System Info quanto o DSDT Editor. Não acho em .dmg no site da Oracle e nem consigo baixar pelo Mac OS X! =(

hi

i dont understand the language but i had the same problem in 10.6 and i solved it by changing some settings


first of all connect with ethernet then go to the network itself and then something like properties or advanced i cant remember


you will be in a window with tabs at the top


navigate to ethernet tab and manually enter the duplex


play in that area im not an expert but i hope i helped

I really appreciate your help friend, but I don't know what happend here that the Wi-Fi suddenly start working normally :o

By the way, as a newbie in the Mac world, my perception is that the system is a work of art. It's been something like 10 hours I'm using it...
