Installation Guide: ML 10.8 on ASUS P8P67 LE


Install OS X 10.8 Install USB.raw from Olarila

Used usb keyboard and wireless mouse ( usb mouse didn't work for me )

Boot the USB drive and install

Installation took 10 minutes, next fill in all data, etc. etc.

Boot from USB drive, Used Kextwizard to install : FakeSMC.kext

: NullCPUPowerManagment.kext

Repair Disk Permisions and Boot from USB drive.

Use Kextwizard to install Lnx2Mac Realtek RTL81xx Driver,

Repair Disk Permisions and Boot from USB drive.

Use Kextwizard and install : Realtek ALC8xx Audio Package,

copy all, drag to kextwizard and install to System/Library/Extensions

Repaired Disk Permisions and Boot from USB drive.

Install Chameleon-2.1svn-r2003.pkg , don't forget to custumize and

Do Not Reboot !

Use Show Hidden Files, delete " Mach_kernel " from HDD,

Copy " Mach_kernel " and " Extra " folder from Install USB ( Take notice that this " Extra Folder " is located in the Preboot.dmg ), and paste to HDD

and at Last Repair Disk permisions, eject ML install USB and Reboot Pc.

OS X ML should boot now smooth and flawless.


This Guide is compiled by CzyberX and should work for most ASUS Motherboards
