Failed to Load SMC DRIVER on boot after install

im getting this error after i successfully boot from usb and install , but after reboot pc just stops no hd actiivty.. here is screenshot..

PC

INTEL dg33tl

CPU = intel core 2 duo Q6600

Graphics = Nvidia gt520

Did you boot using the USB installer?

You need FakeSMC (at minimum) to be able to boot from HD http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1627

Maybe you need to move video kext (GeForce) from /S/L/E in first boot. You can move it back after inserting your card ID in NVDAGF100Hal and NVDAResman http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=154

yes booting with usb installer..

well it installed fine using the bootcd.. but after install now rebooting off HD i get this error

How are you booting the HD after install? USB? Boot CD? Already had Chameleon in the HD?

From the picture I see 2 problems, missing FakeSMC and graphics mode do not start.

Hard drive is fresh install, no Chameleoon on HD yet, but i have tried Boot cd, and usb.. also used a chameleon USB boot also

same results hangs at this point..., also doesnt the OS_X_10.8_Mountain_Lion_bootable_USB_for_Intel_PCs include the FakeSMC..

I really have no idea, you should at least see "DSMOS has arrived" and not "failed to locate SMC driver".

Try moving video kexts, boot with -s and run

fsck -fy
mount -uw /
mkdir /kext_backup
mv /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce* /kext_backup
mv /System/Library/Extensions/NVDA* /kext_backup
reboot

Then boot with GraphicsEnabler=No -f

well got it to boot in safe mode

To get graphics drivers working you may need to do what I suggested in the first reply.

Delete your smbios.plist in Extra folder,this is problem for SMC.kext/

And boot without smbios.plist

well it booted after i deleted the GEFORCE.kext file.. but now how do i find the kext to work with my asus gt520 video card

here is my system info specs..

then re-install GeForce.kext

yes thanks.., it all works .. now just need my hdmi audio to work.. i had it working in LION 10.7.4

Use the same kext as Lion, it should work in ML.

thanks for all your help.. i got everything working.... other than booting from hd using latest Chameleon to hd.. i still get SMC driver fail , but ML boots with Hackboot.iso to DVD
