mgomez
I have a ASUS P8Z68-V LX - core i 7 CPU and my problem is that when I click on shutdown in Mountain Lion GM, the system shuts itself down but then restarts in a moment. So it's like a restart instead of a shutdown. Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
Cassio
Did you patch shutdown (_PTS) in DSDT? http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=634 Quote ASUS N53Jq • CPU: Intel Core i7-740QM 1.73GHz • RAM: 6,0GB • HD: 500GB • GPU: GeForce GT 425M 1GB 1920x1080 • OS: OS X 10.8.4 • Linux Mint 15 • Windows

Cassio
There's no easy explanation, you need to read a bit. http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=385 You can try applying patch "P8 (generic)" from http://Olarila.com/forum/packs.php Quote ASUS N53Jq • CPU: Intel Core i7-740QM 1.73GHz • RAM: 6,0GB • HD: 500GB • GPU: GeForce GT 425M 1GB 1920x1080 • OS: OS X 10.8.4 • Linux Mint 15 • Windows

mgomez
Cassio
You have to boot from HD, not always from USB. Follow post-install steps (step 3 and on) http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1644 Quote ASUS N53Jq • CPU: Intel Core i7-740QM 1.73GHz • RAM: 6,0GB • HD: 500GB • GPU: GeForce GT 425M 1GB 1920x1080 • OS: OS X 10.8.4 • Linux Mint 15 • Windows
mgomez
