babis Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I tried all these 3 hackboots in the first post but i still get the error message about the magic number and it keeps getting me back to the previous screen where i see the "OS X install dvd" button. "The Mach-O file is malformed: Invalid magic number" usually means corrupted files, your DVD is probably damaged. Disk2image do restore the install image to USB, but it can't boot. So the hack boot help me out. Installing. Report later, hope it work finally.
