Instalei a versão estável do Big Sur e, em que pese o funcionamento perfeito com o Catalina, o mesmo não aconteceu com esta nova versão. Intalação extremamente demorada e, ao finalmente conseguir, após a inicialização, o som não funcionou e, por vezes, a inicialização demora muito. Utilizei a mesma EFI em ambas as instalações (Catalina e Big Sur).

Yes, EFI from this group. Sound  works fine.  Trackpad buttons don't work properly.  But I guess it can be fixed by deleting some kexts in S/L/E.

Sorry,  the EFI is too heavy, 18 Mb.  This group allows only 2 MB upload.

Try to update your AppleALC.kext to version 1.5.4.  It is responsible for sound.

Tive esse mesmo problema ao rodar o simulador do iOS.. suspeito que seja devido ao patch de video. Acho que ainda não tem um patch pra Intel UHD G1.

A EFI que estou utilizando é essa funciona tudo e o wifi é utilizando a versão demo do AirportItlwm assim deixando nativo a integração porem ainda é versão demo, no catalina tavez não inicie de uma vez no boot ai precise da um kexload direto no terminal ou automatizar a iniciação.

Funciona bluetooth, e todas as configurações, no meu computador está dando um problema quando estou forçando a parte grafica acho que por enquanto só esperar os grandes desenvolvedores resolver.

Essa efi que passei é em OC uma modificação da passada pelo MaLd0n adicionando o wifi e as kext do bluetooth as unicas modificações dessa efi.

Comigo ela funciona tanto na instalação como no boot normal, para o bigsur e catalina.

Comigo ela funciona tanto na instalação como no boot normal, para o bigsur e catalina.

Thank you, but it's the same. My wifi doesn't appear in network settings and bluetooth connects to my phone but it can't receive files.

Faz o seguinte baixa essa kext https://github.com/OpenIntelWireless/itlwm/releases

depois copia ela em alguma pasta

no meu caso deixei nesse caminho /Users/max/WIFICatalina/ é só alterar e colocar o seu infelizmente não conseguir rodar essa kext direto pela efi no catalina só no big sur que conseguir mais estava dando uns problema de video ai preferir voltar

Same problem here. I cannot mount EFI partitions.

In terminal I have this... 

sudo mount -t msdos /dev/disk0s1 /Volumes/EFI

Executing: /usr/bin/kmutil load -p /System/Library/Extensions/msdosfs.kext

mount_msdos: /dev/disk0s1 on /Volumes/efi: Operation not supported by device

mount: /Volumes/efi failed with 71

...

Luckily I have a second disc with Catalina where it still works.

Could you solve it yet?

is a bug. seems like a bootloader problem
