나수환
In this page, Big Sur prebuilt images are for skylake and newer However, I have a broadwell laptop. So I can't use this image And I have sucessfully installed macOS Catalina in my laptop. Wanted to go to Big Sur Beta. So I tried to make a bootable USB, set up kexts etc But failed. When I boot from usb, it shows me black background white text. And there is no progress for an hour. So my question is, Are there no support for Broadwell and older CPUs? v

kokelunas
I installed successfully big sur release candidate 2 in my laptop Dell with core i5 broadwell processor. I haved the same issue in boot, only used the premade EFI folder for skylake and added my ssdt, dsdt, kexts and config.plist i used in Catalina.
