Hello my build updated from a Mojave to last Catalina. I only changed the graphic card used. Since I'm in dual boot with win10 I use iGPU from BIOS and in win10 I put high performance to use Nvidia one for games. In Catalina I put the string on config.plist ti disable the Nvidia card.

All seems work good other than wifi card but I need a check from you please.

I have a problem from Sleep mode. The monitor remain black and I don't have any feedback from mouse or keyboard. Only way is to reset with button and after the reboot I have no error.

I copied your EFI folder for my Z270 from your link but I keep my config.plist because with the one included I can't boot and I had Shutdown error 5 message.

My config:

Asus ROG Z270-I gaming - I5 7600k - 16Gb RAM . 2x Samsung N.vme 970 EVO drive

I'm trying to install Hight Sierra on an Asus notebook, following this  post:

My notebook description:

ASUS M50Vn

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T9900 (Penryn - Socket 478)

Chipset: Intel PM45

Southbridge Model    Intel ICH9-M (82801IM)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GT

RAM: 4Gb DDR2

Audio: Realtek High Definition Audio

Touchpad: Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad

Network: Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN

                  Ethernet Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

 

Thinks seems to work until point  7- Copy Olarila EFI folder to EFI partition

My problems here are:

Chipset of my notebook not listed here (chipset PM 45 - serie 4)

and

I don't see any EFI folder, eccept the one from the HS olarila USB stick. Here is my diskutil list:

Hi, I'm on Catalina and looking to get my DSDT patched. Here are things that does not work:

1. My system's sleep/wake does not work. The system goes into sleep state but when I try to wake it up; it shows blank screen.
2. The 'Core Min' in the Intel Power gadget shows  0.7GHz, but the CPU idles at 1.26GHz. Is it normal or that also has to be patched?  
3. Powering off system using hardware button does not work.
4. FaceTime and iMessages does not work. Any solution to that?

Motherboard: MSI Z87-G43

CPU: i7-4770

My "Macbook Pro" is an Asus Rog GL752VW, with an i7-6700HQ and Intel HD530 + Nvidia GTX960M (not working on Catalina).

I just donated and i would like to request a DSDT patch because sometimes my screen freeze 5-10s and i have to stop (for example screen recording with QuickTime) and i don't know if that will solve my problem.

Hello, I have graphic glitches (especially on Safari tabs) and most importantly every time I download and setup the Olarila folder for my Coffee Lake system, my keyboard doesn't work anymore and I have to reinstall macOS...

Edit: unfortunately the graphic glitches disappear when I take a screenshot, so I cannot show it... but it basically leaves a kind of "shadow" whenever you pass by with the mouse.

Hi,

I'm new to Olarila, and I'm trying to install in a NUC8i5BEK, with SSD (Western Digital WD Verde Internal SSD M.2 SATA, Verde, 240 GB) and 16Gb RAM Crucial CT8G4SFS824A Memoria RAM de 8 GB (DDR4, 2400 MT/s, PC4-19200, Single Rank x 8, SODIMM, 260-Pin).

I used Olarila and need to check "Fix Bug Root" to reach to Disk Utility and be able to format SSD and install.

But installation is stuck when it reachs 2-3' to finish (around 80% of progress bar)

I'm run of ideas, and don't know if this DSDT could help me to solve the problem. I'm trying to figure what it's but can't find anything. Should I ask here for some special config for my NUC model? and if is provided, how I can apply it?

Maybe this is not the thread, if not please let me know so I can get up speed on how things are done here
