Ciao dopo un lungo lavoro e diverse installazioni sembra quasi tutto funzionare, a parte lo schermo che nonostante abbia l'accelerazione attiva non è fluido come vorrei. Attualmente uso un monitor 4k collegato in display port

Mi chiedevo se la CPU con UHD 630 riesce a gestire i 4k oppure dovrei aquistare un scheda video dedicata.

Potete aiutarmi magari avrei bisogno del DSDT. grazie

I currently use a 4k monitor connected in the display port

I was wondering if the CPU with UHD 630 can manage 4k or should I buy a dedicated video card?

Segui os seguintes passos:

 

2. Montei a partição EFI
   
4. Copiei o arquivo DSDT.aml para dentro da pasta /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched
   
6. Alterei o arquivo config.plist do EFI conforme você indicou
   

 

Ao dar o reboot, o -v do clover exibiu o seguinte erro e não deu o boot:

Estou anexando o config.plist e a imagem do erro do clover caso não esteja disponível.

Você pode ver o que eu fiz de errado?

vc está usando muitos patches rename no config.plist, o ideal é remover tudo isso e usar só os patches acima, reiniciar sem o dsdt editado e rodar o app de novo para um dump limpo

Hello Sir,

I installed Olarila Mojave 10.14.5 on my Lenovo IdeaPad 520-15IKB (i5-8250U, Intel UHD 620, 16GB, Broadcom Wifi, Realtek Ethernet, ALC 230, Synaptics Trackpad, Lenovo/Alps Keyboard)

After a lot of work, I could get all the hardware to work except for Keyboard and Trackpad.

Trackpad is working but the gestures are not working, the cursor moves automatically while using trackpad and I have to tap the trackpad to make it stop moving.

Keyboard doesn't work at all. At one point when I put VoodooPS2Controller in clover keyboard worked but the hotkeys didn't work.

I also tried ApplePS2SmartTouchpad kext but it didn't work at all.

Please help me, I need keyboard hotkey's and touchpad (at the most 2 finger touch) to work.

Keyboard Mappings (Fn+) -

F1 - Mute Audio

F2 - Decrease Audio

F3 - Increase Audio

F4 - Mute Microphone

F5 - Refresh

F6 - Disable Touchpad

F7 - Airplane Mode

F8 - Disable Camera

F9 - Lock Screen

F10 - Projection/Screen Mirroring Options

F11 - Decrease Brightness

F12 - Increase Brightness

In Windows, my keyboard shows as Lenovo Keyboard Device in Device Manager and Driver Provider is Alps.

Also, my trackpad is Synaptics Trackpad (Upto 5 fingers).

Thanks for you reply but it didn't work. I tried the DSDT and here were the results -

Keyboard -

Fn+F1 was changed to Brightness Decrease, Fn+F2 was changed to Brightness Increase and the brightness wasn't even increasing/decreasing with this keys. This keys should have been assigned to Fn+F11 (Brightness Increase) and Fn+F12 (Brightness Decrease). All other Fn+Fn Keys were not working.

When I use VoodooPS2Controller, keyboard works fine but only hotkeys work are F1 (Mute Audio), F2 (Decrease Audio) and F3 (Increase Audio) work. Other hotkeys don't work. I only need brightness keys with it to work.

Touchpad - No change with DSDT. The GPIO Pinning is difficult but still I tried one time and no results.

If you can help me, here is the Screenshot attached in the post regarding the I2C HID Device BIOS Device Name.

Hallo,

I have i7 2600k installed on gigabyte z77p-d3(https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z77P-D3-rev-10#sp), which is 7th generation chipset. I use sapphire HD 7850 2GB OC for my graphics but can't boot with it because it reachs always to a black screen and nothing happens at all (even with safe mode and can't even install MacOS using it), I tried all possible flags and WEG with Lilu but no luck to fix the black screen. So I am using intel hd 3000 as a helping graphics to boot and at the very end the cursor appear but no interaction is possible (no kext is loaded), so I connect the display to the hd 7850 and it works that way. I don't know if dsdt patches will help with this problem or not, but I thought I should ask before giving up.

And please how should I send you RunMe zip file and dsdt table, should I boot using IGX and do it as mentioned, or should I boot using HD 7850 to clover menu, save the dsdt tables and then reboot using IGX and generate RunMe zip file and combine it with the with dsdt tables?

and after using patched dsdt should I keep using Clover ACPI patches? and what configurations should I use for clover? (I am using my own config.plist, which I made through testing and error, I tried using your "chipset EFI folder" but it didn't help at all), and does using VirtualSMC have any benefits over FakeSMC and vise versa?

BTW Which SMBios should I use for my system? and does that make a difference after patching dsdt?

one more question please: should I disable IGX completly because it's no more compatible with MacOS or I do use kexts from older version (https://www.elitemacx86.com/threads/fix-intel-hd-graphics-3000-on-macos-mojave-10-14-x.332/)?

Installed kexts in /L/E/ are AppleALC, ALXEthernet(for my Ethernet, AtherosE2200 doesn't work), Lilu, USBInjectAll, VirtualSMC, WEG
