nysander 0 Posted June 9, 2019 Share Posted June 9, 2019 Hello I wanted to ask for help with patching my DSDT for Lenovo ThinkPad W540, my files attached. Please know that I made those files from my current (partially working) setup because EFI directory for my chipset Haswell got stuck on boot. Any help greatly appreciated. On my current setup I have working volume, brightness, battery, all USB 2/3 ports, bluetooth, usb wifi, ethernet. What I want to achieve is: 1. External combo audio port - now macOS see that headphones are plugged in but no sound in them 2. Sleep works partially ... when I close LID laptop sleeps but wakes with black screen ... when I connect remotely it looks like woken up but without my LID on 3. external mDP does not work - kernel panic when connected. 4. Lenovo TP keymap with extra buttons this laptop has LID connected as eDP and only working ID is for Haswell Desktop to have full acceleration and memory on. if more info needed please ask. Â I've done upgrade to Lilu Whatevergreen and AppleALC, also removed all but one DSDT renames from config.plist and applied Olarila renames. Also added other changes that I've found in Olarila config.plist. Result - nothing visible broken, miniDP started to work I've added CodecCommander kext and hda-verb binary. Result - headphones now have sound Issues not resolved yet ... black screen after wake and keymap, hope to resolve soon as this are last two issues that are mostly confusing. Está acontecendo algo que eu não consegui ajustar, peço essa ajuda aos mestres... Na tela de login, logo após o primeiro carregamento na tela da maçã, a tela dá um flickering, glitch, como se estivesse travando, depois vai pra segunda tela de carregamento... maruzzu82 0 Posted June 9, 2019 Share Posted June 9, 2019 Ciao dopo un lungo lavoro e diverse installazioni sembra quasi tutto funzionare, a parte lo schermo che nonostante abbia l'accelerazione attiva non è fluido come vorrei. Attualmente uso un monitor 4k collegato in display port Mi chiedevo se la CPU con UHD 630 riesce a gestire i 4k oppure dovrei aquistare un scheda video dedicata. I currently use a 4k monitor connected in the display port I was wondering if the CPU with UHD 630 can manage 4k or should I buy a dedicated video card? Thanks again. samarth05 8 Posted June 10, 2019 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Hello Sir, I installed Olarila Mojave 10.14.5 on my Lenovo IdeaPad 520-15IKB (i5-8250U, Intel UHD 620, 16GB, Broadcom Wifi, Realtek Ethernet, ALC 230, Synaptics Trackpad, Lenovo/Alps Keyboard) After a lot of work, I could get all the hardware to work except for Keyboard and Trackpad. Trackpad is working but the gestures are not working, the cursor moves automatically while using trackpad and I have to tap the trackpad to make it stop moving. Keyboard doesn't work at all. At one point when I put VoodooPS2Controller in clover keyboard worked but the hotkeys didn't work. I also tried ApplePS2SmartTouchpad kext but it didn't work at all. Please help me, I need keyboard hotkey's and touchpad (at the most 2 finger touch) to work. Keyboard Mappings (Fn+) - F1 - Mute Audio F2 - Decrease Audio F3 - Increase Audio F4 - Mute Microphone F5 - Refresh F6 - Disable Touchpad F7 - Airplane Mode F8 - Disable Camera F9 - Lock Screen F10 - Projection/Screen Mirroring Options F11 - Decrease Brightness F12 - Increase Brightness In Windows, my keyboard shows as Lenovo Keyboard Device in Device Manager and Driver Provider is Alps. Also, my trackpad is Synaptics Trackpad (Upto 5 fingers). I tried the DSDT and here were the results - Keyboard - Fn+F1 was changed to Brightness Decrease, Fn+F2 was changed to Brightness Increase and the brightness wasn't even increasing/decreasing with this keys. This keys should have been assigned to Fn+F11 (Brightness Increase) and Fn+F12 (Brightness Decrease). All other Fn+Fn Keys were not working. When I use VoodooPS2Controller, keyboard works fine but only hotkeys work are F1 (Mute Audio), F2 (Decrease Audio) and F3 (Increase Audio) work. Other hotkeys don't work. I only need brightness keys with it to work. Touchpad - No change with DSDT. The GPIO Pinning is difficult but still I tried one time and no results.
