Olarila Vanilla Big Sur Image, check link bellow. (with premade EFI folder Skylake+)

You can create your personal Vanilla USB installer with this command

Quote

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Big\ Sur\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Olarila

Compile last kexts and OpenCore, use .commands bellow

Kexts Update.command.zip

OpenCorePkg.command.zip

Add vsmcgen=1 in NVRAM 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 if need

In some cases we stay need booter-fileset-kernel and booter-fileset-basesystem

Quote

For preview version of KernelCollection injection code please update to commit d8ace476 and make sure that variables forcing legacy kernel loading (booter-fileset-kernel and booter-fileset-basesystem) are deleted from NVRAM.

For preinstalled versions of macOS 11 add NVRAM variable 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82:booter-fileset-kernel with 00 value; for some EfiBoot vari- ants it may also be required to set booter-fileset-basesystem variable with 00 value.

Reset NVRAM first time

Hmm, Wonder if this will work correctly with my X299 system that is already successful with opencore and Catalina.
Might give it a shot hopefully Whatevergreen work properly.

On the Big Sur Image linked in the OP it says still need a boot loader solution. So this isn't bootable with Opencore 0.5.9 Correct?

u need compile last kexts and opencore and follow little procedure in first post

if u have a good efi, just update bootloader, drivers and kexts and add vsmcgen=1

last whatevergreen cause many kps

No luck on my X299 System, Right after it gets to PCI Configuration End it gets really slow and then just sits there. No Kernel panic from the time I let it sit there.

I made several attempts in all possible ways, with WG, without WG, with USBINJECTALL, without,  with new OC, with my functional (07/05) with 06/07 with prebuilt (in haswell) nor the boot effect.

Not yet functional
