Hi, @MaLd0n I tried fresh USB installer beta 3, and I stuck at “forcing cs runtime for entitlement: com.apple.rootless.restricted-block-devices” while booting Big Sur installer.

My PC: Msi B450, Ryzen 5 3600, RX 5500XT

Bước này chỉ việc chờ đợi thôi bạn, trên máy mình mất khoảng 10-12 phút là qua. Đây không phải là lỗi, mà là do macOS mã hóa ổ đĩa để bảo mật dữ liệu nên tốn thời gian.

mà sao trên beta 3 cài xong cái phân vùng boot trên menu boot opencore ko phải là Big Sur (tên mình đặt cho ổ MAC), mà là phân vùng preboot.

Mình có cài trên con lap beta2 thì phân vùng boot trên menu là Big Sur

 Với bạn biết cách fix lỗi Màn hình đen sau khi boot trên AMD RX 5000 series ko?. máy mình boot xong màn hình đen sau 30 40 giây bấm ESC nó mới lên khung đăng nhập, mà trc đó nó chạy một số dòng lỗi khá nhanh ko thấy dc.

i am trying from ssd update installer. 

when i run below command to make bootable usb, it doesn't work

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Olarila

but if i rename the downloaded updater to Beta.app and remove "/Install\ macOS" from the command, it works. the working command for me is:

sudo /Applications/Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Olarila

is it ok?

Im doing a vanilla install using the olarila image ,in the boot menu i select opencore and then "intstall macOS Big Sur Beta" and keep getting stuck here.

What do i do?

1. Phân vùng tên "Preboot" là lỗi chung của bản beta 3, muốn đổi tên khác thì khá đơn giản nhưng mình thấy ko cần thiết lắm. Nếu bạn cần thì mình inbox bạn cách đổi.
2. Lỗi màn hình đen của bạn thì mình ko rõ vì mình xài RX480 ko lỗi gì hết. Bạn có thể thử thêm đoạn "agdpmod=pikera" trong boot-args xem sao.
3. Lưu ý nhớ reset NVRam sau khi chỉnh sửa file config.plist nha. Ngoài ra hãy build lại bản OC và kext mới nhất do Dev họ cập nhật + sửa lỗi liên tục.

i followed your guide for catalina and it worked.

But the same way isnt working for Big Sur

 boot arg này agdpmod=pikera đã thêm rồi, nếu ko thêm sẽ màn hình đen luôn ko lên. còn thêm vào thì phài bấm phím ESC một lúc mới lên

i was on beta 3 and trying to update to the latest build using kext update command but it keeps building failed all of the kext any idea?

btw im using xcode beta 3 with command line installed
