In this example, i've renamed from "Test" to "macOS Big Sur" with the following command: sudo diskutil rename "Test" "macOS Big Sur" I now still need a solution for the recovery- and verbose-mode. JaoM Posted July 4, 2020 Share Posted July 4, 2020 Thank you, the problem with the verbose occurs everytime after i've booted from an other EFI - so before booting the EFI for Big Sur, i must always do the nvram reset again.
