Waseemalvi99 Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 I installed voodooHDA kext on my pc, I dont know how it installed first time and my sound was working perfectly. Then i have issue with my Graphics card. I figured it out that also. Then i change my hard drive i was using my backup HDD before. When i installed fresh lion osx 10.7 since then i am having voodooHDA kernel panic. I dont know what went wrong i google every single solution available but i cant figure it out what wrong with my sound card. after one week, messing around with sound card i cant find any solution. They i again installed lion on my backup hdd again i cant install voodooHDA kext every time it boot i give me kernel panic. Any solution from guru's out there will be help full. I remove AppleHDA.kext 1st in my S/L/E rebooted my system, then install voodooHDA kext and repair permission with kext wizard I also edited my voodoohda.kext info.plist. and modified IOPCIPrimaryMatch 0x3a3e8086 i am receiving this msg (error : no PCM channels found) and rest remain the same org.voodoo.driver.voodooHDA(2.7.3)............ dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOAudioFamily..................... ........ dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily....................... ...... my system config are Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66 Ghz Intel DG45ID motherboard 8 gb Ram (4 x 2 gb) On Board Audio Intel® High Definition Audio IDT 92HD73E audio codec Gforce Gt520 2gb On Board Lan Intel® 82567LF Gigabit Ethernet Controller Sata HDD 500 Gb Sata HDD 320 Gb Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think its something inside the info.plist that i have to modify, but still can find any working solution. Still waiting for some solution.
