    Hi there!

I tried the EFI folder provided herein, OC seems to start booting in verbose mode, but as soon as ~3-4 seconds later, the screen goes off and does not turn on again until I restart the computer.

    The config is:

    ASRock B460m Pro 4

    Core i5 10400f

    MSI RX 5500 XT 8G

    a 32g Corsair RAM stick

Do you have any suggestions on what I could do? Thanks!

I tried it to no avail. Same results: the system starts booting verbosely, but then the screen goes off. I took one side panel off my computer and noted that it's not just the screen: GPU fans come to a full stop at that same moment. So apparently, the system is not picking the GPU (a natively supported one, for that matter!)

What can be done? Thanks again for your time

-igfxvesa or -radvesa? I don't have iGPU, mine is Intel Core i5 10400f, it has no integrated graphics.

    Problem solved, actually.

The problem was that the offered OC config had iMac19,1 as system definition. I changed it to iMacPro1,1, and voila, i booted up! Perhaps that was due to absence of integrated graphics in my CPU (the iMacPro and MacPro are the only Apple systems that similarly have no iGPUs)

    Hello,

I'm trying to install with the settings provided but stuck on the boot process:

    CPU: I5-1400

    Mobo: Gigabyte B460M DS3H

If I connect via the external Vga (GTX1060) the boot works normally. I need to use the internal VGA to use catalina.

My installation crashed 😕 I think it was because I tried to execute the update. I will perform a new installation tonight then I execute the file provided and send you the result. Thank you!
