debugging dsdt question

Recommended Posts

my system definition is macpro 3,1. could it be the problem?

This mobo/CPU is LGA1155, I think you should use iMac12. Probably not related to the USB issue.

does the AICPUPM patch brings speedstep control? or is necesary other patch?

Also need to remove NullCPUPowerManagement and enable GenerateCStates and GeneratePStates in Chameleon.

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=181631 this is about a 09 vanilla kernel (isnt it the SL kernel? will it work on my lion?)

and http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=258611. the last one is for a asus mobo. again, will it work in my mobo?

i enabled GenerateCStates and GeneratePStates and i've deleted NullCPUPowerManagement.

i use MSRDumper kext (i loaded after boot) and i get this dump:

MSRDumper PStatesReached: 16 26

MSRDumper CoreMulti(16)

i searching how to enable more Pstates

by the way, i changed the system definition to iMac 12,2 and the keyboard still fails.
