anjuskel
Hello all, I'm new here to the forum and I was wondering if anyone here could answer whether an Ivy Bridge Xeon 1680v2 and a AsRock X79 Extreme3 were able to become a vanilla hackintosh. I know that this processor is one that was available in the 2013 Mac Pro "Trash Can", but this was more then likely done using the C602 Chipset, not X79. I had found links before on here of someone using this cpu on a vanilla build, but I'm unable to turn up the results after the switch to the new forum. Any information about this would be appreciated, because knowing whether or not this could work is the main deciding factor on what Wifi/Bluetooth card I go with, the choices being the Fenvi T919 or a Intel 9260 based card for a strictly Windows based build. Again, and information is appreciated. anjuskel. Edited February 17, 2020 by anjuskel

anjuskel
So I gotta ask, is it possible to dual boot (multi boot) into different OSes with a vanilla build? Reason for asking is due to I was wanting to use macOS in one partition, along with being able to dual boot into a Windows and/or Linux for gaming or just general messing around.
