Ty! Dumb question can i edit DSDT from Windows with maciasl? I'm limited to windows for now i even used imgdiskburner to put the iso on the portable device :C

I used RW-Everything, acpi table, dsdt saved the file and renamed from .bin to .aml! i hope it's ok!

Last dumb question, how i apply the new DSDT for my amd installation? 😄 Should i modify the ISO in some way? Must i load those settings while in clover boot screen? 😄

Did it! Worked like a charm and the cpu performance seems to scale perfectly c:

Did a cinebench 20 and get the same performance like on windows 10 c: (even a little better lol)


Too bad for the 2080ti unused, its recognised as a 22mb gpu and everything is not smooth ahah

Okay im following this giude for my ryzen 2600 and rx 570

downloaded the amd catalina here

Bootable use is working fine 

formatted my MacOs drive

installed the catalina everything working fine.

Now im confused.

what step is next ? Upon checking the guide in the first page.

Do i need to do this?

Use my EFI folder for Installation and Post Installation, paste my EFI folder for AMD into EFI partition, don't need install Clover bootloader
- and where is the EFI partition ? macos drive or bootableusb installer? 
 

or do i need to follow this guide here

My System specs:

ryzen 5 2600 cpu

msi mortar max mobo

gigabyte rx570 4gb gpu

Hello ! 

I follow your guide for installing Catalina 

I have a 3900 X and X570 AORUS PRO WIFI MB, also a 5700XT graphic card, unfortunately i got an error when i try to install it with clover bootloader , but i got an error ( kernel panic / cpu 0 caller ) 

Can you help me with that ? He said :

I tried too but there is another issue 

I boot on install , i format my ssd in AFPS etc 

And Install Begin , but at 2 min of the end , the PC just reboot suddenly, then i try to boot on the new drive where MacOS have to be ( via my USB drive ) 

And he say there is a problem with Mac Os installation 

This is really weird, i know he have to reboot the 1st time, but ... No when he have 2 minutes

I use it yeah, but seems doesnt work for me .. 😕

Maybe because of my config ? Have you ever install on this config ?

Oh thats a X570 chipset ? 

How can i use the DSDT of this mb for mine ? 

Edit : Basically i just have to took the EFI folder and the DSDT and put them on my USB drive on the EFI partition, thats all ? 

There is any Bios configuration i have to do ? Maybe i dont do it good

OK i'll try, just have to put in my EFI partition on the usb ?

And for DSDT ? i put in too ?

 

Edit : EFI Folder doesnt work, i select my boot device ( UEFI USB DRIVE ) and black screen, reboot and again on the Boot device menu 

Edit2 : Tried with the EFI folder of the Asus Crosshair , and get the same error with the CPU 0 caller panic
