I have a problem installing Mojave on SSD. Olarila boot disk works great but after the install the reboot from the Olarila install disk does not show the disk it installed on. How to fix?

double check your bios settings

Load Optimized Defaults

If your CPU supports VT-d, disable it

If your system has CFG-Lock, disable it

If your system has Secure Boot Mode, disable it

Set OS Type to Other OS

If your system has IO SerialPort, disable it

Set XHCI Handoff to Enabled this one important

Did you had installed Clover at your SSD?

If yes, check if the ApfsDriverLoader or HFSPlus are installed at Clover/drivers64UEFI folder.

No clover installed, i am at the point of the restart back with the installer drive. I will check my bios again.

It's not necessary, just boot with your USB stick and install Clover in your HDD/SSD.

Thanks guys.. that worked so well I am now in Mojave. What clove works without problems as I used one in HS and after booting the screen went black... I would like one that works for both. Now I just need to do the post install, I will take my time.

Well I spoke too soon ..both Mohave and HS boot into a black screen, Olarila stick boots with 4895 and I think there is a problem with clover, thoughts? Back on my iPad that never gives me problems. I have been down for a month.

you should be using ivy bridge clover folder from here https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8222 as it should work with all os designed for your cpu an set your smbios correctly also i would suggest having dsdt completed for you build to stabilize more

Thank you for that info, I will install that when I get something to boot. I can reinstall Mojave but I have to leave HS alone as I have too much on that disk. I will look at getting DSDT as that is a good idea but do not have a clue at the moment.

Update: Both Mojave and High Sierra boot up and no black screen, i have installed the ivy bridge clover to each SSD (i have 2 ssd's installed using the HS boot disk to choose between the two). I just installed the clover file into the OS(see attached)The GPU I have installed is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 600, I want to install a Sapphire RX 590. Is there anything I need to do before hand or is it plug n play (wishful thinking)?

How or where is ESP

ESP = EFI partition, is the place that Clover will be.

When you run Clover installer, it will ask you if you want to install Clover at your HDD partition or ESP(EFI), just check this option and install it.

The video shows using clover 4630 which has problems with HS. There are so many clover variations which one would be most stable? Ty for your help!

All is good now so a big thank you for all the help. First of next month I will donate something to the site ( I am on fixed income) I got the Sapphire RX590 working, decided to use the HS boot stick as my clover as I have HS on one disk and Mojave on another and that way I can choose at startup, anything wrong with this arrangement? Now my only issue is audio, when I was running Mavericks I used Voodoo but it seems not to work with Mojave.
