This app will reset the contents of the NVRAM (PRAM) and Rebuild the System Caches.

I call it Mac Optimizer

2.5c1 is the first beta for Catalina.

There are few changes for resolving the issues which makes the app to stop. This is a beta version so if you find a bug please let me know.

With the new Mac Optimizer v2.4 version you can run the app with SIP being enabled.

• Change Log v 2.4

• SIP integration with the app and few minor updates.

With new security changes in macOS Mojave DP10 (and probably DP9 and DP8) SIP must be disabled before running this App.

 

For macOS High Sierra and macOS Sierra SIP can be enabled.

Please use CsrActiveConfig=0x67 in config.plist or disable SIP using Clover's GUI before booting into macOS Mojave.

• Fixed Code Signing issue which resulted the app to crash on macOS Mojave DP9

• Fixed the certification issue. (Please let me know if there is an issue opening the image files or the app)

• Adding a new feature to rebuild LaunchServices to remove duplicate "Open With" menu items

Hi! I get the "Mac Optimizer is damaged and cant be opened" pop up.

You might need to disable the Gatekeeper to be able to open the image and run the app.

This app is signed by my AppleID and shouldn't give you the error but I guess the application that I used to create the DMG might have changed the signing somehow.

I attached a zip file to my first post and give that one a try.

I tested the Image on High Sierra and Mojave without any issues.

Ah yes.. disable gatekeeper is what I needed. And perhaps for future users, I entered the following in terminal to disable gatekeeper.

sudo spctl --master-disable

I also fixed "Move to Trash" issue as well and uploaded a new file.
