Which i5 would you suggest i5 7500 or i5 8400?

 

He suggested i5 8400 which works with a Z370.

Remind that also you can use the new cheap motherboards with the chipset H370, B360 and H310.

I have noticed that part of SMBUS is not working. During post it gives me an error. So I am sending you new Send me Aldebaran_1 file. Hope that you can find the problem. I am running now 10.13.4.

Thanks and I need your help to patch my DSDT.aml.

Another 2 issues bothered me a lot after installation:

1. AppleALC unable to load due to lack of layout-id in HDEF. ALC1220 failed. Only DP audio from HD 630 & HDMI audio from GTX-980.

2. Unable to boot by newer Clover versions (> r.4268) either hanged at +++++++++++, kernel panic or loss of display from Intel HD 630.

why u buy a plextor for hackintosh? buy a samsung 960 NVME

630 is just for hardware acelleration, dont plug nothing there, have a specific config for it

u can use same DSDT from same mobo and same bios version, best to avoid problem
