USB 3 device not recognised when plugged in

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I have a Hackintosh running Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and when I plug in any USB devices to the USB 3.0 port on my NEC uPD720200 PCI board, the devices are not recognised by the system. Nothing happens, BUT if I restart the system with the device plugged in, it appears on my Desktop and I can access it perfectly. Any ideas how to solve this issue? Thank you for your time and help.

Best regards!
